Many companies have come up with slew of festival offers to entice customers this Diwali. Look out! It is the best time to turn your dream buys into reality. Here are some attractive deals:

Auto

Honda is offering cash discount up to ₹1 lakh on its BR-V model and up to ₹21,200, ₹42,000 and ₹50,000 on Brio, Jazz and Amaze variants respectively.

Hyundai is also offering benefits up to ₹25,000, ₹50,000 and ₹90,000 on Elite i20, Xcent and Grand i10 models respectively.

In addition, savings of ₹10,000 is also offered on variants with infotainment systems. Renault’s Diwali offers include extending loans at lower 7.99 per cent rate of interest, cash benefits of ₹10,000 and a 2 gm gold coin to its customers.

Hero offers 75 gm Silver coin or cash benefit of ₹3,000 on purchase of its scooters with additional benefit of ₹1,500 for government and PSU employees. It also offers loans at cheaper rate of 6.99 per cent .

Banking

The more you buy, the bigger the rewards from SBI on your debit card payments. The top ten spenders during 27 September to 26 October would get a Singapore holiday package for two.

The bank also offers 5 per cent cashback on payments using debit card at Bata, Joyalukkas, Malabar Gold, Max, Oppo, Pantaloons, Reliance Digital, Reliance Fresh, Reliance Jewels, Trends, Samsung and Urban Ladder with applicable terms and conditions. Standard Chartered Bank offers 5 per cent cash back on festival month spends for its credit-card customers.

One has to register for this offer before October 31, 2017. The customer is eligible for 5 per cent cash back for all transactions above ₹1,000 in the month in which there is highest spending from October to December. The cashback is capped at ₹5,000 and would be credited by February 28, 2018.

e-Commerce

Major e-commerce players Flipkart and Amazon are up with their mega sales from October 14-17. Big Diwali sale and Great Indian Festival are the themes chosen by Flipkart and Amazon respectively.

In addition to the attractive discounts given, instant discounts are also available on using debit or credit cards of specified banks.

A 10 per cent instant discount is given on purchases using HDFC and SBI bank’s debit or credit cards on Flipkart and Amazon respectively.

Travel agencies Go ibibo, Yatra, Cleartrip are also offering special fares for this festival period.

Dhanteras special

Here is a chance to make the most of auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. Both BSE and NSE have decided to conduct extended live trading session in Gold Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) securities and Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) securities in the equity segment on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.

After the normal trading hours, the session reopens at 4:30 pm and will go on continuously till 7:00 pm.

All unmatched pending orders of Gold ETF securities and Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) securities at 3:30 pm shall be carried forward to the extended trading session.

Settlement mechanism for all the trades remain intact and would be settled on Monday, October 23, 2017.
