Bajaj Allianz General Insurance has announced the integration of its chatbot, ‘BOING’, with Google Assistant. It helps customers with instant query resolution in the voice format. Benefits include obtaining soft copies of policies, claim statuses, 80D certificates on email, and locating company branches, nearest empanelled hospitals and workshops through voice commands.

In order to get information pertaining to their existing policies, users will be required to link their insurance policy number with their Google account. However, for generic queries such as locating company branches and empanelled hospitals, the authentication process is not required.

ITR 2 and 3 on I-T portal

The Income Tax Department has launched the ITR (Income Tax Returns) 2 and 3 forms for the assessment year 2018-19, on the official e-filing portal.

ITR-2 is used by individuals and Hindu Undivided families (HUFs) including NRIs who have income from any source except from profits and gains of business/profession. ITR-3 is applicable for individuals and HUFs who have income from profits and gains from business/profession

The forms have been made available on www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. Some fields have been rationalised in the latest forms, but there is no change in the manner of filing. All the seven ITR forms are to be filed electronically except for some category of taxpayers.

Amazon partners with Airtel

Airtel and Amazon India have joined hands to introduce a range of affordable 4G smartphones at prices starting ₹3,399.

As part of the partnership, a cashback of ₹2,600 will be available on over 65 4G smartphones that are bought from Amazon India’s website.
