Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has decided to change the name and benchmark of Franklin Infotech Fund, effective from May 29, 2017. The fund's name has been changed to Franklin India Technology Fund and the benchmark has been changed to S&P BSE Teck from S&P BSE Information Technology.
Sports new name
HDFC Mutual Fund has changed the name of HDFC Short Term Plan to HDFC Regular Savings Fund with effect from April 21, 2017. Other features, including scheme type, investment objective, asset allocation pattern, investment strategy, and terms and conditions of the scheme, remain unchanged.
New payout facility
UTI Mutual Fund has introduced a new facility –‘UTI-FAMILY’. This enables periodic payouts to parents from their children’s investments in two schemes — UTI MIS Advantage Plan and UTI Wealth Builder Fund. The facility is available to new and existing investors under the growth option of the schemes.
