Please guide me on how I can get contact details and other information on Mutual Funds?

One place where investors may get a host of information on mutual funds is the website of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) http://www.amfiindia.com . This Web site is a veritable storehouse of mutual fund information.

Under ‘Information Zone - AMFI Members', one can get basic contact information of the mutual funds including the website and the contact email id. Investors can visit the AMC websites for more information and services. The names of the Trustees, Directors and CEOs of the funds are also available.In addition, the AMFI Web site gives investors information on the scheme NAVs, Average Assets under Management, scheme related documents etc.

I wish to locate a distributor of mutual funds in my area. Where can I get information and contact details?

Investors who wish to locate a distributor in their area to assist in applying for mutual fund units can do so at the AMFI website –> Investors Zone –> locate a distributor/ agent.

Various selection criteria are available and investor can locate a distributor in their city or even pin code and local area.

Can I submit forms at the service centre of the AMC or directly the registrar service centre?

Investors may submit forms and seek service from either the service centres of the AMCs or the registrars as per their convenience.

Generally registrars have their offices across the country.

I wish to locate a CAMS Service Centre for submitting forms. How can I locate one?

Information on CAMS service centres is available at www.camsonline.com Online Services for Investors Service Network. Address and contact details are given and a map view is also available.

In addition, the Key Information Memorandum which comes along with mutual fund application forms contains the service centres and the points of acceptance of applications.

I have submitted my KYC documents at a Point of Service. The POS has processed the same but the KYC process is not yet complete and I wish to contact CDSL Ventures Ltd. to make an enquiry. What are the contact details?

SEBI is the regulator for the mutual fund industry. Where can an investor see the circulars issued by SEBI and other regulations regarding mutual funds?

The Securities and Exchange Board of India has a Web site http://www.sebi.gov.in where it publishes the circulars regarding funds under SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996, with addresses and contact details.
