Safest localities for single women to buy houses
For single women out to buy a house in the Delhi-NCR region, there are certain extra considerations, apart from regular house-hunting guidelines. These include the population mix of the area, safety measures deployed, such as CCTVs in a housing society, and financial status of the majority of the inhabitants.
Based on these factors, some of the safest localities to live in are Hauz Khas, Green Park, Gulmohar Park, Malviya Nagar, and Saket in South Delhi, Rajendra Nagar, the gated societies of Dwarka and Rohini in the West, areas around Connaught Place in Central Delhi and places like Mayur Vihar in East Delhi. These are not only thickly populated and give a sense of comfort, but also boast of a well-financed and educated stratum of society. When it comes to Gurugram and Noida, women should only go for gated group housing societies that have captive security and a network of safety measures broadly endorsed by local bodies.
